We had the honor of having service tech Joel come to our residence 4/9/24. Joel presented with professionalism and punctuality. Joel provided an in depth detail, video, photos of our attic hvac ductwork. Recommended a plan of action for cost effective efficiency. Did a full review of our interior a/c as well as outside and explained his findings, with cost of repair. His visit came with education and no pressure. Our AC had a leak that was unrepairable and unexpectedly we needed a new AC unit (condenser and fan). We called four companies including the former company that installed the previous units. ACR came highly recommended from several of our neighbors. We were provided several options (4) from cheaper options to higher end two stage, and variable speed units. I called Michael Torres to talk through the options and he took the time to answer all my questions. We chose to hire ACR as their price was competitive, great reviews online and timely service. I called ACR back in September for a AC maintenance. Glen if I’m correct came by and I also told him the issues I had was having with my AC unit. He did the maintenance and told me it had too much Freon. Then I called again this week for a diagnosis test because of the same issue I was having back in September. The same technician came by and checked and said he put in some Freon. Then he stepped outside for awhile sitting in the van and came back later and told me that i needed my compression replaced. My AC is warranty for 10 years for parts. I told the tech why didn’t you tell me back in September when I had mentioned it and after paying $129.00 and another $99.00 he said well we can put it in for you. So I told him the part is under warranty so all I would have to pay for is the labor. I did my research and labor is $500-$600 for a compressor. I then get an email from ACR with a quote for $1700.!!! When the compressor is costing them $0.00. Don’t use this company they will over charge you and have no consideration or interest in trying to help the customer. Read Less

I called the ACR office due to water collecting right at the bottom in front of my air filter door. I also noted condensation on my air handler. Glenn showed up within the window given by the office. Polite and professional too. After about 45 minutes he told me it was water build up in my drain pan. He also flushed out my drain line. I had also flushed my drain line but he put a hose into it which finished flushing it out properly. I will do that next time as well. Happy with the price. Better than I expected. I will be calling ACR again wether it’s something small or a bigger job. Read Less
